You know what? I've got nothing for you today. Nada. Seriously.

I told you things would get crazy with my move and naturally self fulfilling prophecy has prophesied.

My move that should take a day is taking a stinkin' week. Still not done. So much more to go. Help has run dry, a truck is nowhere to be found and we are supposed to be leaving for our vacation tomorrow. So what I can give you is this...

Friday will be better. I promise! My Firsts Fridays will be back up in full swing with New York Times best selling author Julie Kagawa. I will be moved and if all goes well...on vacation!

YIPEE!!!

  2. My husband and I have moved five times in the last 15 years, so I'm feeling for you, Deana. And to be moving right after all you did to make blogfest happen--I don't know how you're doing it. I hope all goes smoothly and that you love your new home.

P.S. Thanks for subscribing to Bird's-eye View; I love the convenience of subscribing to your blog, so I don't have to worry about missing a post. :)

  3. Moving is ROUGH. Best of luck and take a few days after to relax before unboxing everything.

    Good luck!

When you do come back, I hope you'll check out my new contest at www.gabrielalessa.com. It's judged by Sourcebooks editors and it's accepting MG, and I remember loving your story so much!

Hope your whole thing works out!

  7. Ugh, I'm right there with you! I'm sitting at the computer trying to figure out what to write in a blog post and I'm totally drawing a blank. All I can think about is how much work there is to do with moving still! Ahh!
