Edit Crazy

My face has been buried in edits so much so that when I came up for breath I realized today is Tuesday, my post day, and I didn't do one. GASP! I know how my blog posts are sought after and all (total joke:). I guess it's good that I'm wrapped up in my writing...but still.

Have you ever had those days when you get so caught up in something, everything else goes out the window?

Every day of writing is like that. ;)
I get annoyed if I have to see people or do anything else.

Some days are crazy busy for me like that, and then I have others where I'm like, please give me something to do!

You're allowed to take time off to write. I'm so happy for you that you're that into your writing. Yay for you!

I'm finding that time just flies by when I'm editing. Too busy trying to think up better ways to say things, lol. It can be time consuming and all consuming. But, that's a good thing, Deana. Good for you.

All the time... It's so hard to pull myself out of my book when it's time to go to work, or pick kiddies up from school.

Edits are just that way...

Go with it and fly!

Yep. I've got three weeks to try to get a revision done. I have a feeling lots will go by the wayside. Proud of you, Deana, for being so focused!

Every. Day. Stuff is flying willy nilly out the windows. :)

I love the days when I forget about everything but writing :)

I have those days. It's annoying when people around me demand trivial stuff like, you know, food.

Rain- I know, my dream is being a hermit for at least a week.

Courtney- I've had those days too with my writing, where I struggle to get my brain in writers mode:)

Emily- Sad I feel I need permission sometimes:) Thanks for the support!

Lady Gwen- How right you are!

Kate Larkindale- I know, can't the kids walk the three miles for once:)

Loree- I think I just might:)

Angelina- Wow, three weeks?! Good luck girl:) I guess that's the way it has to go...cut and paste basically.

Melodie- Let it fly!

Angela- Oh so do I:)

Sarah- Whats up with that? Food...bah!

You are sought after, but yes, I have had that kind of week or two also. I even blogged about it today. Funny. You and I must be in the same space:)

I love days like that. If I had them more often, I might actually finish my novel!

Christa- I think we must be:)

Karen- In your defense you work an actual job and I stay at home. Give yourself a break sweetie:)

Haha! Does sleeping count ;D

No seriously, I totally know what you mean. The worst is when it's something innane (like writing the perfect blog post), so kudos to you that you're face-planted in edits.

That happens to me all the time! When I am writing time flies. Sometimes I have to set timers for myself if I have things to do- because I get too lost in what I am doing and will miss events or other things I am supposed to do!

I found you through Book Blogs and signed up to follow you. When you have a chance- please stop by and follow the blog for my middle grade novel that I am hoping to get published. http://thesecretdmsfilesoffairdaymorrow.blogspot.com/

Take care-
Jess- although I may show up as Fairday, the main character from my novel. I can't figure out why that happens and I can't fix it. :)

Editing (or reading a good book) has made me late posting my blog quite often lately. Time for some serious self-discipline!
