Another Lie

Yep, I lied again. Lines got crossed with my Firsts Fridays gal for today so last week really was the end of the line for that fun series.

So instead of that I'm going to gush for a second about Breaking Dawn the movie. I was able to see it early yesterday and...I loved it! (Please imagine me singing this at the top of my lungs:)

I am very aware that the Twilight books, movies and even Stephenie Meyer have gotten some major flak over the years, but as for me, I'm a fan and I'm not afraid to say it.

Like it or leave it, Stephenie Meyer has done an amazing thing with all this and I can easily say she is an inspiration to me.

If you get a chance, grab your friends, husband, wife, whoever, and go see Breaking Dawn part 1. They just keep getting better and better:)

Also, while I was preparing to watch the much anticipated movie, The Hunger Games trailer popped up. This is another one I am counting the days until.

What books would you love to see made into movies or which ones have you seen that you absolutely love?

I'm going to see the movie. I too enjoyed the books.

I'd love to see Veronica Roth's Divergent made into a movie. Personally, and I know I'm going to get flack for this, I thought it was better than the Hunger Game. But...But...before you all hit me :), I really can't wait to see the Hunger Game movies either. I think they're going to be pretty nifty :)

I'm glad you liked it! I'll see it when the crowds die down for a girl's night with my mom and sisters. It'll be fun!

I loved it too!! Personally, I was disappointed with the other movies, (I still watch them though because I can not help myself) but I was so surprised by the cinematography, the music (using the best tracks from the previous movies), and the characterization that I couldn't help but be extremely entertained throughout the whole movie! I actually wanted to dive right into part 2!

Glad I'm not the only one who enjoyed it!

And I missed THG preview since I saw a premiere, but you better believe I looked it up on the internet when I got home :)

I haven't seen any of the movies but I did quite like the books. The Hunger Games is the one I'm really hanging out for :-)

I saw Breaking Dawn last night and liked it. I think it ended at a good spot. I really enjoyed the books- even though I thought I would hate them. They were a fast read and entertaining. I didn't love the movie- but thought they did a good job. I liked the third movie the best so far. Looking forward to seeing the second part of 4.

Also- I cannot wait for The Hunger Games! I LOVED that book and the whole series was fabulous!

I saw it last night, too:) Even hubby came along. He's seen all of them w/ me opening night but won't admit he likes them, lol. When my sisters first made me read the books 2 yrs ago, I was like, vampires? really? But I loved them. Yes, I know she breaks lotsa writing rules & says 'murmured' waaaaaaaaay too many times, but she is an inspiration, I think, to many writing mothers. Now the movie, I loved the cinematography also, but I didn't care for the last half. They dragged parts out to make it stretch into not even a 2 hr movie & I felt like we sat through all that pain without a payoff at the end. I would've liked to at least seen her as a vampire for a bit. (Hope I'm not ruining it for anyone but I seriously doubt it, lol). It was so gross & I'm a wimp so I don't think I'll see it twice in the theatre & when I buy it on DVD, I'm only watching the first half:):)Glad you enjoyed it though!

I liked it too. I think they are getting better and better as they go. I thought they did a FABULOUS job on making Bella look... you know [spoiler alert!]... while she was pregnant. Holy cow. I can't wait for The Hunger Games, either!

I wrote about this today on my blog, but the entire movie was basically killed with just one scene. For me. I know a LOT of people loved it. I just didn't happen to be one of them.

Just like I didn't love the books.

But I have to say that anything that gets people reading and talking can't be ALL bad.
